IRONING TIPS

IRONING

Don't use tap water in a steam iron because it will fur up the inside. Instead use distilled water ( not the kind you buy from agarage as this usually contains acid). Most hardware shops stock it. Or use defrosted water from the freezer or boiled water from the kettle.

For stubborn creases, especially those in a hem - sponge with white vinegar and press with a warm iron the crease should disappear.

******

Dampen dry clothes with water in a plant sprayer before ironing them.
